Andrea Zanone
Biella, 1992
He started climbing at age of 17, immediately becoming a champion of his category.
Three years ago he started his career at Urban Wall as a route setter, instructor and boulderer. He says: “I love being a route setter: it’s not just a job … it’s my biggest passion! And it’s also a way to share my passion for climbing with others”
In 2017 he closed two important projects: SS26, the 8c + route in Gressoney and Coup de Grace, his first 9a in Val Bavona. “Instants”, the film that followed his achievement and made by his brother Marco Zanone, summarizes the process that led him to this climb.
