E9, its art and its creative style were born in 1998 when Mauro Calibani, first Boulder world champion, creates something unique for the climbing world.
The company was the first to introduce garments specifically designed, in forms and lines, for climbers. The original and refined style, the attention for every single detail and the closeness to the climbing community are all elements that made E9 an iconic brand, recognized for its uniqueness by thousands of enthusiasts.
Since its creation E9 produced exclusively in Italy, the entire production process takes place in a range of about 30 Km within the company district. This choice, in addition to enhancing the local workforce, is given by the constant attention of the brand towards the environment. Actually, it is a “Km 0” production that reduces to the minimum every fuel consumption with subsequent reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.
For E9, “Made in Italy,” means selection of the best materials, together with creativity and a continuous care towards innovation in order to guarantee unique and exclusive products. In this context, also the raw material selection is made with the aim of preserving the care of our hosting planet. In recent years, they have been introduced on the vast majority of clothes eco-friendly material as organic cotton, hemp and linen. Each of these fabrics come from a productive process with low environmental impact. The cotton for instance is grown on a pesticides and chemical free soil; the hemp instead does not need fertilizers and pesticides; the line at last, who does not need irrigation, is a material usable in all its part that reduces to the minimum raw material wastes.
