Drytooling is the technique derived from ice climbing and mixed climbing (mixed rock and ice) which consists in climbing a rock wall using ice equipment, i.e. ice axes and crampons. It is practiced as a discipline by itself or in preparation for the winter season of ice falls and climbs in the high mountains.
Many underestimate this activity and are wrong because it makes us climbers and ice climbers much more sensitive to the use of our tools (ice axes and crampons), which is fundamental because it allows us to have a safe and fast progression in the terrain we are going to face.
In this workshop you will discover materials, progression techniques and physical and psychological exercises for this new discipline that combines ice and rock climbing.
