She is an Italian climber who loves all the different climbing disciplines between rock and ice.

In 2017 she became the first woman in the world to climb a D15 Drytooling route with the ascent of ‘A Line Above The Sky’ to Tomorrows World in the Dolomites. Angelika is the only woman to have repeated an ice route to the fantastic Helmcken Falls in Canada.

She won three consecutive Ice Climbing World Championships in 2009, 2011 and 2013, came second in the 2015 and 2017 World Championships and won the overall Ice Climbing World Cup standings in 2012 and 2015.

In the summer, on the other hand, she dedicated herself to rock climbing where she repeated routes up to 8c worked and 8a on sight and in 2008 she succeeded in the first female ascent of the climbing route ‘Via Italia 61’, 8a, 250m at Piz Ciavaces in the Dolomites.
